Publisher's Note
In the preparation of this Fourth Edition of the Quaternary Texts, a small but significant discrepancy has arisen regarding the dates attributed to the introduction. As it is noted, the introduction to this edition was written by Editorial Prefect Lyenne Kal in the Year 5119 CE. However, it is important to acknowledge that much of the preparatory work for this edition, including revisions and editorial oversight, began in 5100.
The text was finalized, edited, and published in 5119, a span of nearly two decades since the initial phases of the editorial process. This time was marked by the ongoing refinement of the text, incorporating new insights, discoveries, and theological developments. The delays in publication were primarily due to the continued research, the rediscovery of pivotal manuscripts, and the evolving nature of Church scholarship during this period.
We present this edition with the utmost care, fully aware of the historical and intellectual journey that has shaped its creation. The introduction reflects a vision of the text as it stands today, informed by the work of Editorial Prefect Lyenne Kal and the collaborative effort of the Eridan Archives.
We hope this clarification offers a transparent understanding of the timing and editorial process behind the creation of this important edition of the Quaternary Texts, and that it contributes meaningfully to the Church's sacred and scholarly tradition.
